500/1600 Ton License Prep
COURSE DETAILS
SCOPE
This 2 week long course is designed to cover the types of questions and problems and provide you with additional information that will be needed to prepare for the USCG 500 ton or 1600 ton exams. Both Inland or Near Coastal/Oceans course offerings are available.
The Inland license prep course will focus on Nautical Rules of the Road, CFR’s, Chart Plotting, Deck General and Deck Safety.
The Near Coastal/Oceans license prep course provides a comprehensive review on Chart Plotting, Terrestrial Navigation problems, Celestial Navigation problems, Deck General, Navigation General, Deck Safety, Nautical Rules of the Road, and CFR’s.
Use this course to learn, refresh, or fine tune your knowledge to give yourself the best chance at passing the license exams!
PREREQUISITES
There are no specific course pre-requisites. It is assumed that those attending this course are preparing to take their 500 ton or 1600 ton license exams.
