COURSE DETAILS
SCOPE
This course provides instruction and assessment in recertification of radar endorsement. This course is required for all mariners who DO NOT have 360 sea days in the past 5 years in a position that regularly uses Radar as part of their job.
A mariner who successfully completes the course will satisfy the training requirements of:
- 46 CFR 11.480(f) for maintaining the validity of an endorsement as Radar Observer
PREREQUISITES
Radar Observer Unlimited course OR an active Radar endorsement on your license.
